SNTO values R&D innovation as the life of an enterprise. Since its establishment for more than 20 years, SNTO has developed hundreds of products. After continuous innovation and trial, we have achieved several or only achievements in the focused field.


The great change unseen in a century has come. With the concept of "extraordinary exploration of the unknown", the event aims to gather intellectual resources of colleges and universities, research institutes, government enterprises, and industry institutions, to build a think tank for creative exchange, technology research, industrial docking, brand incubation and product promotion around the themes of aluminum foil packaging, building aluminum formwork, carbon neutralization, and new retail, promote new products, new technologies, new models and new business forms, explore and cultivate innovative, composite and applied high-end talents, and inject new momentum for quality improvement of life and sustainable development of society.

Subject background:

Since Lei Jun and Ma Yun proposed the concept of new retail in 2016, zhang Yong, Liu Qiangdong, the Ministry of Commerce, academia, and others have got different interpretations. The industry is undertaking new retail transformation, but there is no typically successful case that can be referred to so far. The development of traditional retail and e-commerce is limited. Therefore, the online-to-offline new retail is an inevitable trend for new business development.


Project goal:

To study the establishment of a new retail/new business model and build Peony Square into the world's first new commercial landmark within 10 years.


02.How to promote the use of aluminum foil in the food packaging sector?
Subject background:

Most food enterprises have long been plagued by problems like short preservation time, many additives, and non-compliance with modern green health concepts, failing to cope with the complex and changing competitive environment. Therefore, on the basis of reducing additives, it is particularly important to extend the preservation time. At present, aluminum foil is the best fresh-keeping material to address this urgent need with its eight characteristics of strong resistance, strong bacteriostatic properties, good properties, good plasticity, light and beautiful, non-toxic and odorless, anti-oxidation and recyclability.


Project goal:

To establish strategic cooperation with top 20 benchmark food enterprises across the country, designate the use of SNTO light gauge aluminum foil packaging, and convert more than 500 tons of aluminum foil per month.


03.How to establish an industrial Internet platform that integrates food ingredients, R&D, design, packaging, marketing, and the supply chain?
Subject background:

Most enterprises are currently faced with problems like the backlog of raw material inventory, asymmetry of information, sluggish sales of products, lack of solutions, low-end products, resulting in low profits and even losses. People have no idea of selecting green and healthy food. Therefore, it is vital to efficiently serve consumers by opening up upstream and downstream channels around food enterprises and realizing efficient information circulation in an internet macro-environment.


Project goal:

To complete the construction of industrial Internet platform, provide one-stop solution service for food packaging, and become a well-known website platform in the industry


04.Solutions to promote standardization in the food packaging industry
Subject background:

Standardization strategy is the key strategic direction of national advancement, and also the key project for SNTO. At present, the aluminum foil industry has long been affected by multiple product specifications, resulting in poor product quality delivery. However, the packaging industry is faced with large stocks, slow digestion of stocks, large capital occupation, leading to further compressed profits. The core products are insufficient in competitiveness, having difficulty in development.

Promoting the standardization of the food and packaging industry can reduce the specification of aluminum foil used by the packaging enterprise, further reduce the specifications of aluminum foil, facilitate the mass production of aluminum foil manufacturers, greatly improve the production efficiency and quality stability; Reduce the stock of aluminum foil and the occupation of funds; Improve the competitiveness of products and promote the development of the entire food packaging industry.



Project goal:

To study and develop standard specification documents, product quality standard documents for aluminum foil, and successfully declare the national standard system and quality system.


05.How to replace plastic packaging with aluminum foil packaging and other new packaging materials?
Subject background:

On January 8, 2008, the General Office of the State Council issued the Notice on Restricting the Production, Sale, and Use of Plastic Shopping Bags, banning the production, sale, and use of ultra-thin plastic bags nationwide, and implementing the paid use system of plastic bags. With the successive introduction of the national "plastic restriction decree" and "plastic prohibition decree" as well as the significant acceleration of provincial "plastic prohibition" policy, in the next 2-5 years, the policy of "plastic prohibition" will be widely applied across the country. At the same time, with the improvement of people's living standards and consumption concepts, more and more attention is paid to food safety. The rapid development of aluminum foil instead of plastic packaging is on the way.


Project goal:

To research and develop 1-2 aluminum foil packaging top-sellers, drive the application of aluminum foil to gradually replace plastic.


06.How can the construction industry establish an industrial Internet platform to achieve resource integration, transformation & upgrading, and good quality, high efficiency, and low cost (instead of bad quality, low efficiency, and high cost)?
Subject background:

As one of the core industries of SNTO, SNTO AL TRAVELER has promoted the transformation of the construction industry, fundamentally solving the problem of cutting less timber and eliminating construction waste, thus realizing the great argument that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets". Since 2013, it has been used to manufacture and serve more than 5,000 high-rise buildings, becoming the top brand of aluminum formwork. Based on the industry influence and reputation of SNTO AL TRAVELER aluminum formwork, we plan to promote it to the upstream and downstream companies, establish an internet platform for the construction industry, and solve the pain points of the construction industry.


Project goal:

To establish an Internet platform for the construction industry and realize its transformation and upgrading.


07.Optimal solutions for preventing the conglutination of construction aluminum formwork with concrete
Subject background:

As a green building material strongly advocated by the construction industry, the aluminum alloy formwork has many advantages such as fast construction cycle, good forming quality, long life, and high recycling rate, which is of great development significance for construction waste reduction, energy conservation and emission reduction, achievement of carbon standards and carbon neutralization.

The objective of researching the optimal solutions for preventing the conglutination of construction aluminum formwork with concrete is to:

Change the process problem of solving the existing powder spraying, realize the technical upgrading of the surface treatment process of aluminum alloy formwork, and further create the internal advantage of industrialized production;

Solve the adhesion problem of aluminum formwork in the construction process, eliminate the use of release agents, save the related cost of labor and materials, and further improve the external advantages of our products to customers.


Project goal:

To study and develop the anti-concrete adhesion technology for aluminum formwork of buildings, achieve automatic production and eliminate the use of release agents on-site under the conditions of environmental protection, qualified application performance, and decent economy.


08.Solutions for the informatization, automation, and intelligentization of construction formwork design and manufacturing
Subject background:

Promoting manufacturing informatization is an important task proposed in the Outline of the National Medium and Long-term Scientific and Technological Development Plan. It is an important way on the main battlefield of national economic construction to integrate scientific and technological resources, implement an informatization-driven industrialization strategy, and promote economic structural adjustment and transformation of economic growth patterns.

SNTO is promoting strategic transformation. Advancing informatization, automation as well as the intelligence of aluminum formwork design and manufacturing is a key for its transformation and upgrading. The diversified demands of the market for buildings have resulted in a low degree of standardization, large project differences, many types and specifications of aluminum formwork product parts, and problems such as uneven orders, project changes, urgent supplementary orders, and inaccurate delivery time, resulting in low designing intelligence level, poor informatization foundation as well as inventory waste, increasing the difficulty of management. 

It is necessary to promote the transformation of informatization and automation, open up the information flow of product design, manufacturing, and other links, combine information technology, automation technology, modern management technology, and manufacturing technology to realize the informatization of product design as well as manufacturing and enterprise management, and intelligent production process control, CNC manufacturing equipment, shorten product delivery cycle, improve product quality, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the aluminum formwork industry. 


Project goal:

To enable one person to finish one unit per day, get automatic production scheduling to the machine table, and achieve full-automatic processing of non-standard parts with the full-automatic 3D design of aluminum formwork, doubling labor efficiency, and realizing aluminum formwork processing 4.0.



09.Solutions for new energy storage and carbon neutrality
Subject background:

1、The target of China's realization of carbon peak and carbon neutralization in 2030 and 2060 has put forward new requirements for energy structure transformation and energy consumption in various industries.

2、The seasonal power shortage in Hunan has long existed and the electricity price has been high, so it is necessary to solve the power demand and effectively reduce the cost of power consumption.

3、The continuous decline in carbon strength of the unit products is beneficial to improving brand value and obtaining more market share.

4、Resources such as idle plant land after the industrial structure transformation of SNTO are to be developed and utilized.


Project goal:

To save energy and reduce carbon by more than 15% annually, and basically realize carbon neutralization in 2026.


10.How to improve the strength and elongation of light gauge aluminum foil?
Subject background:

Aluminum foil, with many excellent characteristics such as freshness preservation, thermal insulation, and easy manufacturing, replaces plastic, bringing disruptive iterative upgrading to food packaging. It is an invaluable industry that benefits the country, mankind, and the future, and is suitable for the elderly and the young, enabling people to eat healthier and live longer. In terms of the policy, the plastic limitation policy is gradually strengthening, and the government clearly proposes to take the lead in prohibiting the production and sale of plastic wrap in 2020 and to establish a recycling system for recyclable materials in 2022 to promote its application.


Project goal:

Quality objective (0.0063 mm aluminum foil)

The target of the first stage: elongation ≥ 5 %, tensile strength ≥ 90 MPa

The target of the second stage: elongation ≥ 5 %, tensile strength ≥ 100 MPa

The target of the third stage: elongation ≥ 5 %, tensile strength ≥ 110 MPa


11.How to build an experience-type engineering research institute and deliver an all-new user experience?
Subject background:

The main contradiction in China has been transformed into "the contradiction between the growing demand for a better life of the people and the unbalanced inadequate development". The user has a better spiritual demand while the current social situation can not meet the higher experience needs. Besides, there are no professionals and mature experience research models.


Project goal:

1、To establish an experience-type engineering research institute to study the user experience mode under new retail

12.How to apply glasses-free 3D, LED, and laser holographic projection technologies to deliver a surreal immersive visual experience?
Subject background:

As a new form of performance created by the combination of virtual special effect image and, holographic projection and image acquisition intelligent interaction technology, holographic technology can create a surrounding visual impact and a unique visual experience through leading interpretation stage and screen interaction. The audience is no longer outside the stage. The holographic projection technology will break the barrier between the virtual world and the real world and allow people to experience unprecedented visual impact. Nowadays holographic projection has become an indispensable element on the stage.


Project goal:

To create a new landmark for online celebrity business by applying a new business model to create an on-the-scene shopping experience with strong impact and attraction.


13.How to enable ultimate light perception using an ambient lighting design?
Subject background:

With the continuous economic development, people's living standards have been constantly improved. They are no longer satisfied with material demand, but more for spiritual demand. Therefore, the building lighting comes into being. The building lighting fixtures, such as LED line lights, have a variety of dynamic lighting effects. They are widely used in various stages, performances, and entertainment places, giving buildings eye-catching and gorgeous exteriors.


Project goal:

To innovatively build a brightened building with strong impact and attraction, gather popularity and create a new landmark for online celebrity business.


14.How to enable near-real sound perception using a super ambient sound design?
Subject background:

On the basis of dual-channel stereo, without adding channels and speakers, virtual surround sound broadcasts the sound field signal through circuit processing to generate a simulated three-dimensional sound field, so that the listener feels that the sound comes from multiple directions. It creates a 100% simulated scene, brings new experiences through the application of different scenes, which becomes an attractive highlight of it.


Project goal:

To create a super-surrounding stereo, enhance the environmental atmosphere with a more realistic and lively sound, and bring new experiences to people as a famous landmark.
